_ _ i _ _ o o _ _ i _ _

Spent Letters: I A E N O C

An 'O' and a 'C', I hear you both chirp
Only one of you is a bit of a twerp
There are two O's but a 'C' doesn't fit
One of you got lucky, the other's a twit.
This American bird only comes out at night
You rarely see it in the morning light
It has brown feathers and a distinctive call
It leaves its calling card on your garden wall.

that rhyme is so funny, good one Dee, now I don't know what to ask for. I keep seeing Aurua, all brown sitting on a garden wall.

I will guess there is a W

I was wondering if it is a "peeping tom"...
but I am sure that is wrong.
Maybe it is a Dee Dee bird
but again it can't be that turd.
My next guess is a letter
and a L sound better
for a guess.
Oh what a mess!
Maybe that bird is janer,
and I bet she is a tenor
as she sings a song.
And all the bells begin to dong.

W _ i _ _ o o _ w i l l

Spent Letters: I A E N O C W L

I hear the dawn chorus, I'm up with the lark
I've flown from my nest as it's no longer dark
I'm an early bird and I've just caught a worm
It's big fat and juicy and deliciously firm
I'll save it for you both as you lie in my nest
Last night's threesome was great, I was so impressed
The earth did move and the trees they did shake
Two W's and two L's and you didn't have to fake.

W_ i ppoo_will
Spent Letters: I A E N O C W L P

The urge is getting stronger, I feel the need to go
I'm looking under the bed, I'm searching for the po
Oh no, I can't find it, it's not there, it has gone
Now I'm getting desperate, can I make it to the john
But I knew I wouldn't get there as I passed the windowsill
On it, a vase with lots of flowers and a golden daffodil
What happened next, don't ask, a secret I must hide
But when I looked the very next day, all the flowers had died

Not one but two P's for you licquorice

Well done Janer, but what can I say
I can write verse any night, any day
Choose a new word, my poems I will end
I don't want you going, clean round the bend
But do you really think I would give it a miss
You're wrong to believe me, I was taking the michael
I was stuck for a rhyme to end that last line
But poems or not, we'll still get on fine.

No 'A' for 'asp' Belinda, never mind.
Something we all have Hmmm!! A brain, Janer. Does that include me?

How about a 'G' for 'Gracious'!!
