Jonathan McCullum was in perfect health at 155 pounds when he left last summer to spend the school year as an exchange student in Egypt.
When he returned to Maine four months later, he was down to 97 pounds and could barely climb a flight of stairs. The 17-year-old said he was starved by the family who hosted him. Doctors said he was at risk for a heart attack.

Gosh, I wouldn't have lasted that long I would have been outa there.
I tend to believe the host family saying that he ate enough for '6' people, it's likely he did eat a lot more than they did. I also wonder why he didn't ask his parents for money so he could buy more food, if he wanted to stay. _________________ see our backup forum here and register
