Two of my favourites. Pics might be too big but I don't know how to make them smaller. GT???

Are they blooming now?? Surprised My clematis died a horrible death at the end of last summer - I'm told they don't like too much moisture round the roots, and it rained like hell last year. Sad

Not too bad Michael, if you need to resize Photobucket will do it, just click on edit. Also if I can resize with Window XP, I downloaded a power toy.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
scroll down and look for image resizer on the right side.

Midlander: You are supposed to cover up the roots of a clematis, they don't like direct sun either.

GT, they are no longer on my computer. didn't notice an edit on PB and sometimes there is no Share option, so I have to post the links to individual images. I would have loved to share the album with more pics but couldn't.

Midlander, climatis go dormant and come to life when the weather is warm. They like to have mulch around the root because they don't like the heat. Those that flower in the Spring can be pruned in the Fall and those that flower in the summer and Fall, can be pruned in the Spring. I take cuttings in the Spring before the leaves develop to start new plants.
