| I got a new crockpot for Christmas and am slowly learning to use it. However, Ive heard that it may not be wise, (ie. safe) to cook a "whole" chicken using a slow cooker so I'm hesitant to try. Any advice? |

| Don't see why not as long as it is cooked right through. I use a crockpot a lot, mainly for stews and recipies with a lot of liquid. |

The only thing about doing a whole chicken it would take longer to cook. Here is the link to a recipe for roasting a stuffed chicken.

Just put in a search for "Cooking whole chicken in slow cooker" or crock pot. Lots of links out there. Bon appetit _________________ “Wisdom is knowing what to do next, skill is knowing how to do it, and virtue is doing it.”
