I'm looking for audiobook downloads. At present I belong to Simplyaudiobooks but would like to widen my search,l so will check these out.

I guess that means you have to read them on the computer, don't think I could read a whole book on line hard on the old eyeballs

Licquorice, actually I download the ones with sound that are read aloud, like books on a CD type of thing. These are called audiobooks. There are also print books, yes. Both go on the computer.

Out of Garden Talker's list I found that the bottom website (gutenberg) has the audio ones, but I am still trying to figure out how to do the download! Guess I'll have to ask my son how to do it.

I managed to down load the books. I felt like killing myself after listening to just one bounce Awful computer voice that drones on and on Mad Free though Smile Belinda

Belinda, the quality of the books being read varies a lot. Most of them are pretty good, many being read by actors and actresses, so they are fun and the characters are really well conveyed. Only occasionally do I get a dud.
